How it Works

Register as a host from anywhere in Nigeria and upload your apartment or workspace on our platform for intending guests to see and pick. We allow all categories of host; Live-in or Live-out, and all category of apartments, including low budget to premium apartments.
For safety of our guests, we require that all hosts have verifiable identification, preferably a government I.D and a functional social media account. We also do a physical verification on the existence and condition of the apartment, therefore hosts are required to pin the exact location of the property on our map.
Guests are also required to have valid and verifiable identification and a social media account. Settlement to host is made after each successful stay by Guest after deducting a 5% commission.

How to Book

To start your search for the perfect apartment, start by visiting our home page. There, you will be able to enter your desired arrival/departure dates in to the search field, and the location you intend to stay. Then, press SEARCH to browse all the apartments that are available for the indicated time frame.
Keep in mind that there are extra filters and categories that can help you fine-tune your search.
Click on your favourite apartment to see more information, including location, pictures, and price (including any promotions that may be active). By clicking BOOK, a request will be sent to your intending host for approval. Once your visit is approved by the host, you will proceed to make payment. Your payment is guaranteed and will be paid to the host upon a completed and successful stay. Your will be refunded in full in cases where you are dissatisfied with the apartment or your visit is cancelled (cancellation at this instance will attract an administrative deduction of 3%). Atleast 30% prepayment is required to secure the reservation, and the balance is to be paid on arrival to the property before checking in. All payments are made online and on our platform. NO cash payment is allowed.

After making a booking, you will receive a booking confirmation email with the address and details of the accommodation.
Please read the welcome information carefully, especially the information regarding meeting your host and key collection. Moreover, we will also ask that you observe the House Rules during your stay, these will also be outlined in the confirmation email. In addition, Emergency Contact numbers will be provided and should be your first point of contact if you encounter any emergencies during your stay with us.

How To Become a Homify Host

1. List your place/ workspace

 

Listing your apartment or space is quite simple. Register as a Host with you basic verifiable credentials and contact details. Add your listing to your profile and set the price. We can guide you in setting your price by using our pricing calculator.

2. Welcome your guest

Once your listing is approved, it becomes visible to all our guest and users. intending guests request will be sent to your email for approval. Ensure that you are available to attend to guest request promptly, or you nominate a representative or agent to do so and communicate accordingly to Homify.

Please ensure that you are available to receive and welcome your guest at the point of arrival.

3. Earn Money

Your earnings are guaranteed. Homify will ensure that Guest make payment before using your apartment/ workspace. You will be settled after a successful hosting of the guest/ renter.

How to list my place on Homify?

Take a clear picture of the space(s) you intend to list. Register as host on the homify website or app. upload and narrate the apartment you intend to list and set the price (you can be guided by our price calculator on the site). Upload a valid identification and social media account. Your listing will be reviewed and approved for your intending guests to see.

How the payments works?

Guests make payments only online and through the platform. The host is settled only after a successful stay of the guest.

How to upgrade my place to featured?

Featured apartments are paid for and will appear topmost on our listing. Contact our agents for prices of featured apartment

How to get refund?

Refund can be request in event of cancellation for various circumstances. Please read our terms and condition to acquaint with the refund policy.

Who to become an host?

Anyone can become a host. you can share your apartment with your guest (Live-in Host) or be fully detached from the apartment your guest will use (Live-out host). A Celebrity can also play host.

Every house in Nigeria qualifies to be on the service, but you must be guided by our price setting calculator to avoid over or under-prizing your space.

How to get in touch with my guests?

You will be provided with the guest contact details after they have made payment, to get in contact with your guest.

How to get paid?

Payment will be made after a successful hosting of your guest. click on “request payout” on your profile, and homify will process your payment to the account details you provided during registration.

How to cancel a reservation?

Reservation can be cancelled on your profile, or contact homify directly to cancel a reservation.
